If only a Purple Heart Medals big joke? Republicans think so.?

During the last presidential election, Republicans did not believe much of the three Purple Hearts that Kerry won, while fighting in Vietnam. So why would anyone have any respect for given purple hearts in Iraq? I mean, it's Republicans who said Purple Hearts were given to people who do not deserve. According to Republicans, a man gave him three Purple Hearts did not deserve. So thanks to me, I just shake the Republican head every time I hear a guy "won" a Purple Heart in Iraq. (We know better, right?) Thanks to the Bush campaign, now we know that they like Halloween candy. So, are you suggests the Purple Heart as a big joke? It has nothing to do with the Republicans in itself, but it has to do with campaign strategy that Karl Rove (Bush's senior adviser) for meritorious service to see Kerry otherwise. Medals and a Purple Heart and the Medal of Honor medals will always incredible value, regardless of what politicians say or think. You seems to be getting wrong information from the source because I have soldiers under me in my company who were authorized to wear the purple heart, but decided against it because they were not injured enough … even though these people have scars and problems as a result of enemy action. As usual, if a person is wearing a purple heart is most likely to win. You would not know what happened to ensure that (could be zero, but serious injuries most likely, a concussion from the absolute power of the shock wave striking an IED vehicles, etc. .. NOT ALWAYS think the purple heart is a joke. Those who won one in wars before us and still they deserved. Have entered into a war zone and if they have a scratch or a missing leg following still a hell of a lot more than the rest of the population back in the United States, so give them the respect they deserve instead of worrying about the political jargon which is pushing some agenda, and perhaps destroy the merit that many other soldiers, marines, airmen, sailors and certainly deserve. My father was a heart recipient purple. He was flown by a mortar and a rocket in Vietnam. He lost a finger and had many wounded by shrapnel, but was afraid to wear it because he had seen other people get much worse injuries. As for me, being a soldier in Iraq myself, my dad, the men who served with who were injured, the soldiers here that has been wounded several times (but outside the coil of wire anyway) deserve all the respect in the world. A man, or some politicians will not diminish the honor of these men.
